In this virtual course with accomplished trauma therapist, Kadie Ausherbauer, PhD, LMFT, you will learn helpful information and strategies to make trauma therapy less mysterious and nurture your own capacity to maintain wellbeing while doing trauma therapy with clients, while earning CEs for your license renewal. About Kadie Ausherbauer: Kadie Ausherbauer has been dedicated to helping clients heal from traumatic experiences and PTSD since 2009. With a background in community-based, residential treatment, intensive in-home therapy, and outpatient clinics, Kadie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is trained in multiple trauma-focused therapeutic models, including the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma Systems Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). As a member of the U.S.-based training team for NET, Kadie has trained therapists across the U.S. and internationally. She holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a doctorate in Family Social Science with a minor in Prevention Science. Kadie sees herself as part of a global community of practitioners who are healing trauma in their communities and finds it immensely meaningful to support and inspire other therapists in beginning and sustaining the work of doing trauma therapy. This talk has pre-approved CE hours from the following boards: - 3 hours from the MN Board of Social Work, and meets standards for 1 Ethics credit (CEP-2403) - 3 hours, including 1 Ethics hour from the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy (2026-267) - 3 hours from the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy for LPCs & LPCCs (2026.CE.253)
