About Kadie Ausherbauer: Kadie Ausherbauer has been dedicated to helping clients heal from traumatic experiences and PTSD since 2009. With a background in community-based, residential treatment, intensive in-home therapy, and outpatient clinics, Kadie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is trained in multiple trauma-focused therapeutic models, including the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma Systems Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). As a member of the U.S.-based training team for NET, Kadie has trained therapists across the U.S. and internationally. She holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a doctorate in Family Social Science with a minor in Prevention Science. Kadie sees herself as part of a global community of practitioners who are healing trauma in their communities and finds it immensely meaningful to support and inspire other therapists in beginning and sustaining the work of doing trauma therapy.
