Join us for an insightful afternoon with Maureen Campion, MS, LP, as she unveils the key elements of successful couples therapy in "Couples Work: The Essentials."
In this seminar you will gain an understanding of:
- Communication and Relationship Dynamics: Explore professional standards with a relational lens and shift conversations from blame to addressing relationship needs.Â
- Practical Intervention Skills: Learn effective interventions to manage session time, change conflict patterns, and develop anger management strategies for coaching couples.Â
- Ethical Awareness and Boundaries: Navigate unique ethical considerations in couples therapy, discover limits to marriage counseling, and identify pitfalls and ethical dilemmas.Â
- Empowerment and Relationship Guidance: Create a safe space for increased intimacy and honesty, boost competence and confidence in relational work, address gender issues and power dynamics, and navigate the "stay/go" decision of divorce with strategic plans. As well as master the art of managing emotional intensity in the first few sessions and utilize personal relationship philosophy to empower client choices.
