Couples Work: The Essentials with Maureen Campion, MS, LP

Join us for an insightful afternoon with Maureen Campion, MS, LP, as she unveils the key elements of successful couples therapy in "Couples Work: The Essentials."

In this seminar you will gain an understanding of:

1. Communication and Relationship Dynamics: Explore professional standards with a relational lens and shift conversations from blame to addressing relationship needs. 
2. Practical Intervention Skills: Learn effective interventions to manage session time, change conflict patterns, and develop anger management strategies for coaching couples. 
3. Ethical Awareness and Boundaries: Navigate unique ethical considerations in couples therapy, discover limits to marriage counseling, and identify pitfalls and ethical dilemmas. 
4. Empowerment and Relationship Guidance: Create a safe space for increased intimacy and honesty, boost competence and confidence in relational work, address gender issues and power dynamics, and navigate the "stay/go" decision of divorce with strategic plans. As well as master the art of managing emotional intensity in the first few sessions and utilize personal relationship philosophy to empower client choices.
